About MANDARINE Project Partners
What we do
We work with companies that:
- experience problems resulting from bad multitasking,
- suffer from delays in implementation of projects,
- are having difficulties in obtaining reliable information about the progress of their projects,
- are struggling with low profitability of their projects.
The foundation for our work is a combination of openPM 3.0 (our proprietary project management approach) and Critical Chain Project Management method developed by Dr. Eliyahu Goldratt.
What we've done — consulting
Some companies we'we recently worked with as project management consultants:
Polish Energy Group (40,000+ employees in ca. 250 legal entities) on their IPO, touted by Bloomberg as Europe's largest IPO of 2009 at $2.1 bln — with Goldratt CZ.
Zabka Polska (2500+ convenience stores in Poland) on expanding their retail network of a new store format/brand, the 'Freshmarket'.
ITI Group (media holding, including TV network, the internet portal onet.pl, etc.) on implementing a group-wide comprehensive HR management software system.
The City of Wroclaw (a vibrant city of 630,000 people in SW Poland) on building the Euro 2012 infrastructure, including the football field, roads, bridges, highways and other supporting infrastructure — with Goldratt Institute Israel.
A leading retailer operating in Poland — establishing a Project Management Office.
Lux MED (the #1 private health care group in Poland) on implementing a key IT system.
LOT Aircraft Maintenance Services (the maintenance arm of LOT Polish Airlines) on a strategic project.
Marek Kowalczyk — Slayer of Bad Multitasking, Practitioner of Goldratt’s Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Project Management.
Marek is also a co-founder of MINT Books, a publishing company bringing to the Polish market books on management according to Goldratt's theory of constraints. Marek lectures extensively at Polish and international business schools, such as the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Warsaw Institute of Technology, Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa in Wrocław and Collegium Da Vinci. He is a sought-after management speaker and writes for the Think Tank Magazine (the Polish equivalent of Harvard Business Review) or the Polish edition of the CIO Magazine.
What we've done — education/training
A few things we've done wearing our educational hats:
- Since 2001, we've worked with Ernst & Young Academy of Business as their partner in delivering public and in-house project management programs.
- Since 2004 we've been running a post-graduate program in project management with Wyzsza Szkola Bankowa, the #2 Polish business school.
We've trained thousands of people from all sorts of companies operating in Poland, both local and international.
The company was incorporated as a Polish limited liability company (Sp. z o.o.) in February 2005 and in 2015 it was incorporated as a UK limited company (LTD). Prior to that, we had operated for four years as a sole proprietorship.
